Cold Weather Gardening

Learn how to clean and prepare your beds in the spring to get ready for the new planting season. Learn what grows well in the cool spring and how to sow seeds in the fall for early spring crop.

Pressed Flower Art

Join stained glass artist Bill Bird making beautiful pressed flowers in glass frames.

Tea with Mom and Me

$35 per person
Bring your mom (or friend) for an old fashioned afternoon tea including finger sandwiches and pastries. Plus, plant a terrarium to take home and enjoy. All supplies provided.

Kids Planting Station

Mother’s Day weekend: Children can plant their own flower in a paintable ceramic boot for Mom.

Large Container Class

$40 per person
Spend time in the greenhouses learning how to properly plant and care for your hanging baskets. Learn about pests and diseases to look for throughout the summer and ways to keep those flowers blooming all season long.

Soil Painting

By Betsy Rosser, Muskingum Soil Water Conservation District. Break down rocks and use pigments created by a soil scientist to make our own watercolors.

Last Minute Planters

$40 per person
For busy people who still want to bring beauty into their gardens Bring your own container or use ours. Learn how to properly plant and care for your container flowers.

Herb Club
$5 per person (or $20 for 5 classes)
Topics:
Combined class with Soil Blocking Class. Learn how to make your own seed blocks and plant your own herb seeds. Herb Club will meet every other Thursday: April 24, May 8, May 22, June 5, June 19.
