Welcome to McDonald's Greenhouse!

We are anxious for Old Man Winter to finally be put to bed. Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog, surely missed his mark this past February. Regardless, the greenhouses are warm and steamy, full of happy plants.

Our big news this spring is that we are finally accomplishing our dream of moving our retail shop out to the farm where we grow the plants. After 18 years at the interstate location, which served us well, we are "Growing to Serve You." We are able to be open longer hours and have a larger retail showcase area. Not to
mention save hours and hours of trucking the plant material to the other shop.

Now, we will stay 100% stocked with whatever you need, saving time and frustration for all.

The farm is just 2.5 miles off the I-70 Adamsville Exit on the right, where you have come for the McDonald's Greenhouse Corn Maze for the past 7 years. C'mon out and see the updates. You will be pleased.

As always, we want to bring the farm and the consumer one step closer. Please stop and ask questions or see our farming practices in action. We love to share of love of the land with you.

Home of The Prettiest Place in Muskingum County - in fact - The Prettiest Place in the Country

It took 4 years for Dad to build the colonial-style house where my parents, John and Dorothy Montgomery, have lived for more than 1/2 a century. Mom and Dad, purchased their first 20 acres in 1956, the year they returned from the service. Today, they still own the farm, but now my husband, James, and I also live on the farm. We also have 15,000 square feet of commercial greenhouses where we sell annuals, perennials, mums and pumpkins. Read the full article (PDF)
